Beetroot Houmous

This week I was invited to create a vegan party recipe as a guest post to help celebrate What You Sow’s first birthday. What You Sow are a local Brighton-based shop selling lovely garden-y things, which you can browse online here. Take a look and wish them happy birthday!

I wanted to make something seasonal and attractive, so I whipped up a recipe for beetroot houmous, which you can find at the What You Sow blog here! I’m not a huge beetroot fan but I am a big houmous fan, so this was the perfect way to work some beautifully bright beetroot into a recipe. I’ve used it for dipping carrots, and also in a falafel wrap which you can see above (for the falafel themselves I used this recipe, and added lots of fresh salad bits).
